Campbell's Second Grade Stars

This is a place where Mrs. Campbell's Second Grade Stars can shine. My hope is that it will be a tool for students and parents. Everyday we will write about what we have learned that day in class. We will also be posting web sites that can make at home learning more fun. Something new will be happening everyday here so please check it out.

Let's get started.

On the side bar, you will see an analog clock and a digital clock. Students should already be able to read a clock to the hour and half hour. We will be adding to that knowledge this year. You can use the clocks to help your child.

There is also a calendar . Students should be able to read the calendar. Please review how many days in a week, the months of the year. Each student must know his or her birthday.

This year will be different for your child. There will be numerical grades given on report cards. More accountability and responsibility will be given to your child. It is important to question your child about his or her day; the learning that took place and difficulties he or she may have had. Hopefully this blog will help you know the right questions to ask.
